The "Jumpy Place"

Gavin chowing down as usual! He stays pretty close to me most of the time. Not sure how I am going to manage when both him and Wyatt are going in opposite directions.
Wyatt has no fear. Most of the little kids in here won't go down this slide.
When he gets to the bottom he always make sure that I saw him go down and waits for me to say how awesome and fast he went. Such a boy!
I took the boys to the "jumpy place" as Wyatt calls it today so that Dale could work on our house. He put up all the door trim with help from our good friend Adam.
We frequent this place often. It is small so I can keep an eye on both of the boys and usually pretty quiet during the weekdays. I love it because we can get out of the house on a rainy winter day and the boys get to burn a lot of energy!

Meet Baby Sophia!

We were so excited to meet Sophia Marie over Christmas break! Every year we look forward to seeing Greg and Allie during Christmas time because they come home to see family. And this year was every more special because we got to meet the newest member of their family.
She is absolutely adorable and perfect! What a sweet little angel.
Side note: Gavin was NOT happy about me holding her at all! He was crying so hard during these pictures you'd think someone was hurting him. Poor baby! We have some learning to do before he becomes a big brother =)

Christmas 2010

The Boys Opening Presents - the best part was the wrapping!
Kenzie wrapped Dale's present this year. She did an awesome job! Lots of duct tape!!

My little helpers

Wyatt just learned how to wink. It is hilarious!!

Gavin eating away! This kid will eat anything and everything!!

Wyatt got a new wagon! Thanks grandma and papa! We use it all the time.

Wyatt got a new tricycle (Lightning Macqueen of course!)

We had an awesome Christmas this year. We switch each year between both our families and this year was the Chase year. We went to church on Christmas Eve, then over to Kurt and Aly's for a delicious prime rib dinner, then a very competitive game of Disney Scene it, and then home to bed.
Christmas day we woke up and opened presents at our house. Carmen and Matt spent the night for a little extra fun. Then we headed to Dale's parents for a big breakfast and more presents.

Each year I am reminded of how incredibly blessed we are. Our families pour love on us and our kids. I am so thankful that we are close to everyone and that we can spend Christmas together. But I am also thankful that our kids get to open presents. We try not to go crazy but our parents sure do! I know there are lots of kids without families and lots of kids without new toys on Christmas. So before Christmas I go through the boys stuff and donate some of their toys that they don't use anymore. We also donate food to the food bank. I am hoping that as the boys get older they will understand this a little more and learn why its important to give.
Merry Christmas Everyone!!
