3 Week Update

Sidney is 3 Weeks Old! I will get some pictures up soon!

She is doing so well. And we all adore her...especially Gavin =) He was the one I was so worried about too.

Sleep: sometimes 4 and even 5 hours at night and pretty much 20+ hours a day total. Gosh, newborns sleep a ton! She has started to open her eyes a bit more. And for more than to just find a boob.

Eat: She eats pretty much everytime she wakes up. Every 3 hours or so.

Schedule: We don't have much of a schedule yet...because she sleeps pretty much all the time! But lately she seems to not really go down for night time until 11 pm or 12 midnight at night. Then she'll sleep until 3 or 4 am. Then eat and sleep another 3 hours. Mid morning and mid afternoon we get another little "awake" time and then she passes out again. She can also sleep through anything. And for those of you who have been to my house - that's really good! Her older brothers are pretty noisey.

Clothes: She is officially out of her newborn clothes and into 3 months.

Gavin: LOVES his little sister and wants to hold her all the time. Sometimes he will start to cry if he feels I cut his "turn" too short. Wants to kiss and love her all the time. But also wants to lay next to her and on top of her so I have to be careful.

Wyatt: His voice goes up about 10 octives when he sees his "little gril." He adores her and wants to show her off to everyone. He is really gentle and loving. He can also be helpful at times and go get me a diaper or blanket - very nice!

Dale and I are doing great too. Dale has been superdad and been playing and helping out so much with the boys. This gives me a little more time to rest in the morning or feed Sidney and not feel rushed. And I know all his help is also a huge part of how great I feel.

I feel amazing (for just having a baby of course=). I have also already lost all 37 lbs that I gained - however, I don't fit into my normal jeans. Hope my hips don't stay where they are at! =) I have been running and exercising, taking the kids on adventures and playdates, and have even braved costco and other errands with all three kids. Going from 2 to 3 kids has been a really easy transition for me (and our whole family). I am so thankful for energy and a quick recovery so that I can do things for myself that make me feel good (like exercising) and so that I can stay active with my active little boys. Our house has also been amazingly clean, laundry has been done, and we've had home cooked meals (for the most part!).

Of course our house is loud and hectic but that is just the way I like it right now. My life feels pretty complete =)
