Zac Brown and Eastern WA - Day 3

Love this man!
This guy was sitting in front of us drinking a little too much. Poor guy passed out before Zac Brown came out to sing and missed the whole thing. I was a little nervous and had Adam check his pulse a few times. I bet he was still there the next morning. It was pretty funny.
Jamie and Jessi Oakland (they have three kids) and Kendra and Adam Brandonburg (expecting in February) came with us! Such a fun date night.
LOVE the Gorge - the BEST place to see a concert. However, I realized how old I am getting because I was a little irritated with some of the insanely drunk people =)
Before we left... I was a little nervous leaving the kids especially Sidney but there is no one I trust more than my mom. They all did great and had so much fun with Ninna and Papa and Riley.

We had such a fun weekend! We are SO incredibly lucky to have my parents to help us out with the kids so much. It was my perfect vacation: I got to spend lots of time with the kids but also had some alone time with my hubby. Not sure when I will (if ever!) be able to leave our kids for the weekend so it was perfect to bring them with us. Thank you mom and dad!

I was also so thankful to see Zac Brown. These past few years Dale and I have grown the most with our relationship. Mostly because we have grown our family =) We love country music. Not a day goes by without us having CMT on our TV. Our kids are already growing up on country music. Zac Brown has become so popular the last few years. We especially love their music. It's like music for the soul. We relate in so many ways to each of their songs - even if its a few lines from different songs. There are songs that especially remind me of each of my kids.

When Wyatt was a baby (before he could even crawl) he would sway when, "Whatever It Is" came on. And he's been singing, "Cold Beer on a Friday Night" since he could talk. "Wipe Your Mind" (I am sure a lot of moms can relate, "Knee Deep" and "Free" are some of the others that remind me of my kiddos. But I love all of their music. I could have cried hearing "Free." It talks about living on love..."No we don't have a lot of money, all we need is love." This is cliche but I seriously feel like the richest person in the world since I had my kids. I am sure a lot of moms feel this way but I seriously think people wish they had kids as wonderful and as adorable as mine =) And I can't picture a better partner and dad in life than Dale. My life is full!

Another song they sang was, "Isn't she lovely." This song has always reminded me of Sidney..."Isn't she lovely? Isn't she perfect? ...made from love."

Zac Brown has one of the purest voices and has such a talented band. They play so many different instruments. The show was all about music - no big performance just amazing singing. And it was a beautiful night! We love them and hope we can go to another concert again!
