As soon as we get somewhere, especially parks, Wyatt takes his shoes off. Never thought I would be the one with a barefoot kid running around.
Loves to climb!
Yum! Chocolate ice cream!
Glad this was outside :)
Climbing like bubba (Wyatt)
Tastes good!
Two best friends! They were getting a kick out of eachother's faces.
We went to Kayla's birthday part today and the "seesaw" park. Sidney was there too! Slept the whole time in the stroller. I didn't get a picture of her :( I am having SO much fun with the kids this summer. I love spending time outside and so do they.
This was our first time to this park. It has awesome toys! But doesn't have a bathroom...ANYWHERE! It also doesn't have ANY trees and is right in the middle of a neighborhood.
Wyatt, right on schedule, had to take a #2 after we ate lunch. I didn't know what to do! So I put Gav and Sid in the stroller, grabbed Wyatt's hand and we all hiked across the park to the Chehalis trail. It was a long walk for an adult so a very long walk for three little ones. Wyatt kept saying, "Mom, I gotta go BAD!" I just kept saying, "Just hold it Wy. We are almost there."
We got to the trail after what felt like forever and I told Wyatt he was going to poop on the ground. "Are you kidding me?" Wyatt said. Love his sense of hummer. "Yes, Wyatt you are going to poop on the ground this once. We are not going to do this again. Just today."
So I helped him squat. Gavin watched the poop come out and kept saying, "Poop. Ground!" And we all waved as runners and bikers passed us on the trail. Gross! And embarrassing!
I picked up the poop (with a wipe) and put it in a diaper. Wrapped it up and high tailed it back to the party. Wyatt and Gavin were laughing and thought it was so cool.
Once we got back to the party, my friend Anna asked me where we went. "Oh we just dropped a log on the trail over there." I finally laughed about it. The adventures of motherhood...never a dull moment.
P.S. City of Lacey, can you please put a bathroom at the seesaw park? I am sure I am not the only one that had to let their kid poop outside but I bet I am one of the only ones that picket it up :)
