A day in the life...
The boys love this game "Red Rover." It has really helped Gavin learn his colors. It has also helped Wyatt read different letters and numbers. Totally recommend it!
And of course sister in the background watching.
I think until you are a mom, it is hard to understand what a stay at home mom does all day. I used to think that sounded amazing to be a SAHM - relax and play all day. Not the case! It is a ton of work!! Harder than working for sure. But I do love it and wouldn't trade it for anything.
At the end of the day I look at piles of laundry, unopened work emails, dishes, toys everywhere, myself (eeek!), and I wonder what I accomplished. Well there is one thing that I can always say about my days with the kids - they are always well fed, cutely dressed :), explore outside and have lots of play time. They are so sweet and need adult interaction in so many different ways - Sidney needs to be held and cuddled, Wyatt needs to see me do things so he can do the same, Gavin wants help doing things so he can feel like a big boy. I love being a part of their everyday learning.
So at the end of the day there are lots of things that I should, could or would have done but I would much rather play cars for two hours. That gives me a lot more happiness than the dishes do :)
